Broader market indices showcased a down trend on Thursday’s trading session with most of the stocks in the red zone. BSE Mid-cap index dropped 3.60% at 14,610 levels, while BSE Small-cap also dipped 4.11% at 14,992 levels.
In Mid-Cap index, Jindal Steel was the top loser, trading lower by 9.75% at Rs 122 per share. While, Adani Power, Reliance Infrastructure, India Bank, JSW Energy, MRPL were among the top loser in the index. Hindustan Petroleum contributing majorly in the index losses, trading down by 4.19% at Rs 412 per share.
Similarly, in the Small-cap index most of the stock in the red zone. Natco Pharma was contributing majorly in the index losses, trading lower by 15.72% at Rs 700 per share. Cigniti Technologies was the top loser in the index, trading lower by 20% at Rs 201 per share. Sanghvi Movers, ITI, Rain industries, Kiri Industries are among the top loser in the index. While on the other hand, MBL Infrastructure was trading in the green zone up by 9.93% at Rs 23 per share..
